Teen injured in crash into W. Jordan fence

WEST JORDAN -- A teen suffered only minor injuries, thanks to a reclining seat, after a metal fence pole crashed through his vehicle's windshield and struck him directly in the chest.

Fencing remains on top on the Plexiglas starting about 6 feet off the ground.Organizers of the Vancouver Games have made it a little easier for visitors to take up-close pictures of the Olympic cauldron."It was a sliver of the Cold War played out on a sheet of ice," said NBC's Al Michaels. The driver was taken to a local hospital in fair condition. His 15-year-old female passenger was not injured."Oh, you definitely get dizzy, but your body learns to build a tolerance for it," said Evan Lysacek, who won a gold medal Thursday night. "When you're going so fast that everything's a blur, you don't get as dizzy as if you are spinning more slowly and see specific objects going by."
